What's a wrap?

Have you ever put those little stickers on a toy car? It's basically the same. A wrap is a big sticker for a car. It's a vinyl film with a temporary adhesive backing with air-release channels which allow for repositionable application and a bubble-free finish. They're manufactured in different colors or we can digitally print any custom design imaginable for business advertisement or personal flair.

Why wrap?

A wrap is the most cost-effective way to advertise your business and is a great temporary option for customizing your vehicle. A wrap can turn your vehicle into a mobile billboard, make your fleet consistent and professional, or add the finishing touch to your personal vehicle. A wrap is slightly delicate compared to paint, but is quicker, more customizable, and is less of a commitment.

What to expect

Wraps typically last 3–5 years (6 years in rare cases) with many factors affecting the life span: climate, heat, sun exposure, wash frequency, rocks, debris, etc. To prolong the life of the wrap, wash it at least once a month, keep it in a garage when possible, limit exposure to extreme heat/cold, and avoid chemicals, car wax, and pressure washing.

A wrap that is taken care of will give years of enjoyment and advertisement. At the end of the wrap's life, you will start to see fading, fine lines and/or cracks forming throughout it. It is already time to remove it before you see these forming! Schedule an appointment ASAP! If it is not removed promptly, the paint will be damaged and Sarasota Wraps will not be responsible. Do not neglect your wrap! If you don't take care of the wrap, don't expect more than 2 years out of it!
